Embedded Systems/FPGA ASIC

Almost all small or portable electronic devices are considered embedded systems. These devices contain microcontrollers, microcomputers, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) or application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) as their "brain" and often have many sensors and methods of communication. Embedded systems range in complexity from a child's learning toy to a smartphone, or even a rocket guidance system!

The engineers at eTracia have many years of embedded systems hardware design and firmware development experience. We are experienced with multiple processor architectures and manufacturers such as ARM, 8051, DSP (Texas Instruments), PSoC (Cypress Semiconductor); and 8, 16, and 32 bit devices from TI, NXP, Microchip, and Atmel. Our speciality in the past has been wireless sensor systems, but have expanded into the medical device and automotive electronics areas.

We also have experience with FPGAs, specifically for ASIC design and prototyping. We have developed several ASICs working at different companies in the past and are familiar with the entire design process from concept to tapeout.

We are ready to work with you for any of your embedded hardware, software or system-level needs, whether it's writing drivers for firmware, laying out a printed circuit board, developing an FPGA design, or even ASIC development.
